ASCO is committed to achieving excellence in optometric education and helping its member schools prepare well-qualified graduates for entrance into the profession of optometry. ASCO represents 17 optometric schools and colleges of optometry in the United States, 2 Canadian schools, a number of other foreign schools, and more than 20 corporate members. ASCO serves the American public through the continued advancement and promotion of all aspects of academic optometry.
